Restaurant Le Relais du Pelvoux sur Pelvoux

We stopped by for dinner on February 18th. A very warm welcome and a superb dining room. The bistro-style cuisine was excellent and a real treat. We had a wonderful time with our family. Thank you! No rating for the rooms as we weren't staying there.

We spent two nights at this inn as a family of nine. It's very well located, and the decor is lovely. The bedding is very comfortable, good quality, and new. It's very clean. A minor drawback in the family rooms is the lack of a small refrigerator and a small microwave. Perhaps, due to space constraints, parents with babies could have access to the rest room (to store and heat food and baby bottles whenever they want), without having to bother the staff. Although they did so very willingly. The breakfast was very good, high quality, and unlimited, featuring local products. The restaurant is quite gourmet and very refined; the food was good, and the menu is sophisticated. However, the evening menu is not suitable for families (desserts with alcohol, a venison burger, and a second burger with a strong blue cheese from Queyras, which is too strong for a child). Perhaps a simpler dish for younger children could be added. Because it's true that we were expecting something less formal and more family-oriented, in terms of the meal, given that we were staying in a hostel. We were delighted with our experience and will cherish the memories. We recommend this place.

We stayed at the Auberge Saint Antoine from Friday to Sunday for two nights, and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. We had previously stayed there in 2019 and noticed a significant improvement since the new owners took over in 2021. The establishment is impeccably maintained, the room was spotless, with impeccable bedding—true comfort, essential for a successful stay. We were fortunate enough to have a room with a terrace, a real bonus. The location is ideal: the ski slopes are within walking distance, which is particularly convenient. We enjoyed the breakfasts at the inn, which were generous and of high quality, and we also dined at the inn's restaurant. The menu is varied, the dishes are homemade, beautifully presented, and delicious. You can taste the dedication and expertise in the kitchen. A big thank you to Jeremy and his team for their warm welcome, professionalism, and friendly atmosphere. We recommend it without hesitation and will gladly return.

It was our first time in the region. We were charmed by the inn's setting (as seen on their website), so we decided to spend a few days there and celebrate New Year's Eve. For a first time, it was more than successful, and we fully intend to return in another season. Everything was perfect! The cozy comfort of the establishment, the tasteful decor, right down to the lovely tableware in the restaurant. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff and the owner, Jérémy, who was meticulous in ensuring his guests' satisfaction down to the smallest detail. And what can I say about the excellent cuisine we were served! Imaginative (with surprising combinations of ingredients, spices, and herbs) prepared by the chef, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten—my apologies to him. All of this was accompanied by local wines, selected by Jérémy. A word also about the excellent choice of jazz and soul music for the New Year's Eve dinner. Thank you again for this enchanting interlude.

This establishment is the sole reason we come to the region. The room rates are unbeatable, the staff is remarkably kind, and the restaurant has a gourmet feel. If you ever move, we'll follow you… Thank you for your hard work and daily efforts. See you soon.

We had dinner as a family at this very pleasant place. The welcome was excellent and the food superb. There was a good variety of choices. We had a wonderful time. We'll be back!
