Perched atop the mountain range, right at the foot of the famous castle, the 757 restaurant at Haut-Koenigsbourg offers an exceptional location in the heart of the mountains, combining spectacular panoramas with an ideal gourmet stop for visitors. A breathtaking view: Located directly on the castle grounds, it overlooks the entire Alsace plain and the Black Forest, offering a unique panoramic terrace. An affordable price: Contrary to what one might expect from a tourist site perched high in the mountains, the establishment offers a simple menu and affordable prices to suit all budgets (including local dishes and snacks).

A fantastic place for a romantic dinner for two, offering truly high-quality cuisine. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. This is fine dining, so please don't expect pizza and schnitzel. If you enjoy good food and don't have to find fault with everything... you absolutely must go. We love it. The service is also excellent.

You instantly feel privileged and expected. As for the food, the culinary journey is exceptional every time. The quality of the dishes borders on perfection: the seasonings are perfectly measured, the flavors subtle, and the interplay of textures is simply remarkable. Special mention goes to the cooking, always exquisitely refined, which enhances each ingredient with rare precision. To top it all off, the decor and setting are truly magnificent, offering an atmosphere that is both elegant and intimate, inviting you to linger over this timeless moment. A must-visit in Forbach that I wholeheartedly recommend! ❤️

We were there on Sunday when it was 36 degrees Celsius outside. I had emailed beforehand to ask if the restaurant had air conditioning. The restaurant replied that it was well air-conditioned. Unfortunately, that wasn't true. There was no air conditioning! It was very hot, but unfortunately, cold drinks like bottled water were simply placed on the table instead of in an ice bucket. No one asked if we wanted anything else to drink when the table was cleared. I was disappointed because even the friendly staff acknowledged how hot it was. The food was very good and I would recommend it; the three servers were also very nice. But perhaps they should consider making it more comfortable for their guests, given the temperatures.
