Restaurant le Tivoli sur Vic-En-Bigorre

I spent a year and a half at the Tivoli as a frequent traveler. Having tried every establishment within a 20-kilometer radius, I can only highly recommend this hotel. The staff is extremely pleasant, friendly, attentive, and professional. Always accommodating to special requests, I greatly appreciated this with my often unpredictable and unscheduled schedule. The food is delicious, from appetizers to desserts, not to mention the truly comprehensive breakfast buffet (sweet, savory, hot, and cold), a rarity in the area. The rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable, functional, and clean: modern bathrooms, a comfortable desk with two monitors, plenty of power outlets, and a nice TV screen.

Our children gave us a Smartbox gift certificate, which included a three-course dinner with a welcome cocktail, one night in a double room, access to the sauna, and breakfast served in the room. The room was really small with a narrow double bed. Dinner was good, but the portions were small (people next to us had much more on their plates), and the welcome cocktail was more like a small aperitif. Breakfast was not served in the room. On the plus side: the room was very clean with a nice bathroom, and a kettle with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was provided. Breakfast was good, and the reception staff were welcoming. We did not use the sauna.

I haven't left a review about the rooms simply because I haven't had the chance to book one yet, as I'm staying with a friend. However, I've been to the restaurant twice every time I'm in Vic-en-Bigorre. The welcome is very warm and friendly, the staff is attentive and dedicated to your satisfaction, the menus are delicious, and the value for money is excellent from appetizer to dessert. 😋 I highly recommend it for a treat for your taste buds. Pivoine.

Very good restaurant with generous portions, however there was a slight lack of hygiene in the toilets…
