Restaurant Le Turckheim Croix d'Or sur Turckheim

26/02/2026: We arrived to this restaurant after a very long trip all the way from Italy, and it absolutely did not disappoint us! A very pleasant welcome to Alsace and its delicious cuisine, this restaurant has a warm atmosphere and offers excellent typical food such as the Tarte Flambée. We enjoyed a lovely evening here and we are particularly grateful for the service: all the waiters were extremely kind to us, had patience with our broken French and our messy accent, and made sure we understood everything from the menu. Bonus points: super tasty Munster cheese and the scrumptious moelleux au chocolat! Highly recommended!

09/02/2026: La Tour, Turckheim. We rounded off our stay in Turckheim with dinner at La Tour. The interior has a somewhat rustic feel, but it's still cozy. They serve Alsatian specialties and local wines. The food was good, as was the service—we felt completely at ease.
