Beautiful setting overlooking Sillon beach and its promenade, a Chef who takes great care of his guests and the service to match, an excellent evening.

A quick, belated review: Just wanted to say that you're absolutely perfect. From the refined, flavorful cuisine to the impeccable service provided by Marina, we were delighted. She was attentive, kind, and responsive to her guests, all within an idyllic setting. Thank you to the entire team for their outstanding work, both in the dining room and the kitchen. I highly recommend it.

We feel it is essential to clearly distinguish between the cuisine, which was remarkable, and the service, which unfortunately made our evening very unpleasant. Positive points The cuisine is excellent: precise, balanced, and sophisticated. The view is magnificent, the wine list impressive, and the attention the chefs pay to their dishes is undeniable. Negative points – service that ruined the evening What could have been an ideal dinner, given the setting and the remarkable work in the kitchen, turned into a very disappointing experience. We were served successively by seven different people, which created a feeling of constant confusion. Of these seven interactions, only two were truly pleasant. The only advantage of such a parade is that it statistically increases the chances of encountering someone friendly… Regarding the wine, while the list boasts over 250 selections, we requested a wine pairing with the tasting menu. The response was: “Oh, well, no, we don’t do that. But have you chosen?” After asking for advice, the waitress told us she didn’t have any and that it depended on our tastes. Since the five minutes allotted weren’t enough time to choose from so many options, we asked for more time. It was only after three requests that the head waiter came to advise us. We explained our preferences: a round, oaky wine. Yet, we were offered bottles from the bottom third of the most expensive wines on the list, only to be served an acidic wine with absolutely no roundness. Another particularly memorable moment: when I mentioned my mushroom allergy, which I had previously indicated in writing during the online reservation, the waitress asked me haughtily whether it was an allergy or simply an intolerance. I explained to her that it was a severe allergy that could cause anaphylactic shock. She replied, turning on her heel, that "the details didn't interest her." We're still wondering about the importance of that question: if I had simply been intolerant, what difference would it have made? Especially since I was still served a dish containing mushrooms. Fortunately, another waitress corrected the mistake with a great deal of humor and a light touch, which we sincerely appreciated and want to acknowledge. As the evening progressed, the awkward moments piled up. For example, when my wife greeted a waiter she thought she hadn't seen yet, he replied curtly, "I've seen you before." Or again, when we asked for details about a dessert that hadn't been mentioned to us, the response was, "Oh, well, that's lemon." The chefs clearly put a lot of effort into creating subtle balances, but the waiter only noticed a "stale piece of lemon." In conclusion: There are many more anecdotes, but the main point is this: despite superb cuisine, the service overshadowed everything else, to the point of ruining our evening. We wanted to acknowledge the few pleasant staff members, as well as the quality of the food. But this experience taught us that an excellent meal isn't enough when everything surrounding it becomes a source of tension. Despite the culinary delight, we had a very bad evening, and we won't be returning.

Excellent restaurant, starting with the warm welcome from the staff throughout the evening. We ordered the "catch of the day" and were pleasantly surprised by how perfectly the salmon was cooked! Excellent... The amuse-bouche, "stuffed chili pepper," was both excellent and original. And delicious desserts...and complimentary petits fours! The entire meal was very generous. We were just passing through and had a lovely evening in this very pleasant place. A very pretty town. Nelly

Thank you to your very friendly staff. We felt us very welcome. The meal was delicious but with very less spices a bit insibid and the aubergine was still very hard and raw. May be this had to be like this but for me and my wife it could have been cooked more and could have been spiced up a little more. But the non alcoholic drinks especially the homemade IceTea was very delicious.

On Sunday, there was an all-you-can-eat buffet, which wasn't mentioned in the online reservation, and the dessert selection wasn't very extensive.

Mediocre, with capital M. This goes to food, service and atmosphere. Food is truly unimpressive. The presentation of the food is lovely but it lacks any memorable taste. Service is bare minimum. To be fair, not all the servers can be graded as such (a couple of them met expectations), but the overall service experience was again, unimpressive. Don’t get me started on vibe. The venue is located right across the water with fab views. But inside, there’s plastic flowers in every corner making the venue look cheap. St. Malo is filled with fantastic restaurants. Every other restaurant we tried was memorable. This place, despite the higher prices and higher end impression online, fails on all fronts. I wanted to give it two starts but added one for effort. It may have been the particular dishes offered or maybe there was something unusual in the kitchen, but this was truly disappointing. We tend to go with fixed menus and wine paring when offered. But the menu options looked so unappealing, that we went for à la carte.

Very good and excellent. A must-try!
