Restaurant Les Cavalets sur Bauduen

De prachtige plek met uitzicht over het Lac motiveerde ons om hier te gaan eten. Het bestelde kwam snel op tafel. De drankjes ( fles water en een karaf wijn) werden niet ingeschonken, het bestelde water bleek zonder bubbels terwijl we mèt hadden besteld en om de bestelde salade moesten we vragen omdat deze niet op tafel kwam. Het vlees van mijn man smaakte hem goed. Echter., het door mij bestelde was echt niet te eten. Taai, niet door te komen met een mes.. bah. Het plezier is echt de prachtige locatie maar voor het eten en de bediening met een bedrag van €74.. nee. Zou t niet aanraden .

Small charming hotel with magnificent views of Lake Sainte Croix. Friendly staff, very satisfactory restaurant, rooms are a bit small, but very clean. Ideal for visiting the Verdon gorges.

Quiet place with a wonderful view of the lake. Friendly and polite staff, the rooms are functional but small. I recommend it for those who want a quiet and relaxing solution. Parking and swimming pool available.

We have just stayed there for 3 nights. Just magnificent. The manager and the room staff are just top notch, very helpful, very kind, very commercial, I didn't have the feeling of being robbed when paying the bill. Really nothing to say. Breathtaking view. Food value for money OK. French breakfast as needed, pastries, butter, jam, honey, orange juice, coffee, tea and chocolate of your choice. Some people complain but for 10 euros we are OK. So one downside.... The room, it's true that we came 10 years ago and it hasn't changed. Would benefit from some updating. Even though it was the middle of August the hotel was not "hot" we slept well with the window open. The noise from the restaurant did not bother us, we were right next door. Yes we hear it's true but it didn't stop us from sleeping... No really just the mattresses to review. Comparing the prices with other hotels in the area it remains the most accessible in my opinion even if in fact it is not given attention (like everything), but hey the positive points largely encompass the points to be reviewed. This is obviously a subjective opinion 👌 Thank you for this great stay with the family.

We only went to the restaurant which has a breathtaking view of Lake Sainte Croix. Impeccable service and delicious dishes, however not a very wide choice of dishes (not easy with older children who now take à la carte) even if we ultimately all found what we were looking for

Very nice experience, a panoramic view overlooking the magnificent lake. The welcome at the top.

An unexpected surprise! We hd a lovely meal with great service at this restaurant with a the most amazing view! Lavender surrounds the terrace, where we delighted in seeing hummingbirds. The escargot were my highlight, with the gambas and cote de boric a close second. Definitely worth it for lunch or dinner!
