Exactly what I was looking for in a mountain chalet. The food is generous, featuring local products. The chalet is magnificent, with a wood-burning stove and views of the snow-covered plains... 🤩 Prices aren't higher than in a resort, but you get the added charm and atmosphere. Note that it's not directly accessible from the slopes. You have to take off your skis and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the chalet.

It's the perfect place to take a break from skiing and enjoy the panoramic views. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. A truly wonderful mountain restaurant in La Clusaz.

08/02/2026: A huge thank you for this express service! Upon arriving in Le Grand-Bornand, I realized at the last minute that the lens insert in my ski goggles wasn't prescription. Despite my call the day before and the very short notice, everything was handled with remarkable kindness and professionalism. Using my prescription, a solution was found immediately: the lenses were ordered, received within 24 hours, and fitted to the insert very quickly. All this with perfect follow-up and a truly warm welcome. Thanks to this responsiveness and efficiency, I was able to ski in excellent conditions. A lovely, attentive, and incredibly efficient optician: I highly recommend her!
