We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The location is simply magnificent: the establishment boasts an ideal spot in a bay, right on the seafront. A truly idyllic setting to enjoy a delicious meal. Another major advantage is the private beach just below, with sun loungers where you can relax, soak up the sun, and fully enjoy the day by the water. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. All the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. We particularly appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the owner, who personally ensures that every guest feels comfortable. The service is impeccable: the entire team is attentive to every detail and truly goes the extra mile to make the experience perfect. As for the food, we discovered original flavors and some truly beautiful combinations. The restaurant offers particularly attractive set menus at €42 and €50, allowing you to choose several courses and finish with an excellent dessert. Honestly, the set menus are very generous and excellent value for money: you leave feeling completely satisfied. Between the beautiful setting, the quality of the food, the warm welcome, and the attentive service, we truly loved our experience. We recommend this place without hesitation and will gladly return.

We celebrated our wedding at L’Hippocampe a few days ago. We couldn't have dreamed of anything better (and our dreams were ambitious!). The venue is stunning, the team is friendly and attentive. They're real people, a world apart from so many other restaurants in the area (that we've been going to for a long time). An unforgettable strawberry mille-feuille! The food is delicious, varied, and, again, home-style. Everything is fresh, and the owner's dry wit adds a delightful touch. We've been going there for six years, we got married there, and we'll definitely be back to celebrate many other things! A thousand thanks!!

Great location. Skeptical as this one was so much lower rated than many in cap martin which disappointed. But this one was actually pretty good.

Simply the best authentic French restaurant I've ever been to in the area. The view from the restaurant is stunning. The beach is beautiful, too. P.S.: Leave room for dessert.

The views were spectacular and the food was very good. One minor complaint, though, is that the restaurant was full and the service was a bit slow, but that wasn't the service's fault, so it probably won't always be like that. The food was delicious and the place was special.

Seaside location above a private beach (managed by the restaurant) with exceptional views of Menton. Decent meal with fresh, seasonal produce. It's a shame the menu isn't available online beforehand. Expect to pay around €50 per person including wine.

We had such an awesome time celebrating my husband‘s birthday. The staff really went all out to ensure that we had an awesome table with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. They brought out one of their awesome enormous desserts, and we shared it with the six of us. The sparkler that they put on the dessert was a nice touch. I love the fact that this restaurant is family owned. This family really cares about their clientele. Their dishes and drinks are amazing. We’ve eaten here for lunch and dinner and both are quite good. The fish is light and flaky and cooked to perfection. It’s a great value and the quality of the food never changes. This restaurant is located in (Rory) France and is off the beaten path. I would venture to say mostly lovals frequent this cozy little find. They also have a really nice beach club with easy access into the Mediterranean Sea. The swimming is amazing here. One of the prettiest spots in the south of France. I almost hesitate to make this post because I don’t want this place to be overpopulated. But then again that’s being selfish because it’s such a great find!

Not bad, but could be better. The salad was simple and a bit stale, even for the end of service. The homemade dessert was good. The dated interior could use a refresh, especially the restrooms. Come on a sunny day to enjoy the superb view from the terrace.
