We went old school and decided to chose which restaurant to eat lunch in La Turballe based on how busy they looked. There are quite a few restaurants next to each other in the Main Street and this looked busiest. We managed to get a table outside under the canopy which was good. We didn’t want a full meal so didn’t look at the menu of the day or lunch special and just ordered a couple of seafood salads. The staff were friendly and spoke English so ordering wasn’t a problem. The salads were fine - a few pieces of smoked salmon, prawns and anchovies on top of a mountain of lettuce. They tasted OK but maybe some onion or cucumber of something else would have been good to go with the lettuce. Rose wine was good. Nothing special but fine for lunch.
