Well, let's be realistic:
Some of the reviews you read beforehand might scare you off and make you decide against visiting the restaurant. But you'd be missing out!
The old owner handed the restaurant over to his son and is very attached to it. He's completely dedicated, he's very much involved, and he still works as a kitchen assistant.
The restaurant is simply fantastic. The young woman runs the entire restaurant single-handedly, and she does it with top marks! 🫶 We reserved a table for ten people, and she didn't forget a single order, even if it took a little longer because every table was occupied. You can tell the older generation is still very attached to the old owner, and that speaks volumes about the quality and dedication, which deserves to be emphasized and praised.
We were here eight years ago when the old owner was still there and treated us to wonderful stories and delicious food. You could tell he lived for and with this restaurant.
Now the son has taken over and cooks with his father in the kitchen, while his girlfriend runs the front of the restaurant. Of course, another server would be nice, but it's her decision to do it alone, and probably rightly so.
We were all very satisfied, from the fish casserole to the sea bream, pizza, monkfish, steak, calamari rings, chocolate, tarts, and tiramisu. The recommended rosé wine was also excellent.
If we didn't have to go home, we would love to spend another evening with you.
But as it is, we'll say goodbye for a while and promise:
