If you're struggling to find Japanese food in Dijon, this is the place. While Dijon has "fake Japanese food" and "all-you-can-eat sushi," this is the only place where you can find authentic Japanese cuisine prepared by a Japanese chef. My top recommendation is the combination of beef fillet and foie gras. You'll want seconds! The course menu, which starts with appetizers that showcase seasonal ingredients while utilizing traditional Japanese techniques, allows you to choose two dishes and also includes a dessert. The proprietress's lively conversation is also a highlight. It's always bustling with local regulars, and it's a rare restaurant where you can leave not just saying, "It was delicious today," but also, "I had so much fun, I was laughing so hard today!"

A wonderful discovery! We only booked the day before and still managed to get a table. From the outside, you wouldn't necessarily expect to find a restaurant of this quality, but everything was truly delicious. The dishes are refined, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. We were a little worried, seeing the portion sizes, that we'd still be hungry at the end of the meal, but in the end, the portions were perfectly balanced, and we left feeling more than satisfied. Special mention also goes to the waitress, who was absolutely lovely, always smiling and welcoming throughout the meal. An excellent Japanese restaurant in Dijon that we will gladly return to. 5/5 without hesitation!

Small Japanese restaurant on Rue Jeannin. The dining room is pleasant. We tried the set lunch menu (€20) and the bento box (€25) one day. The dishes are original and excellent. Homemade soy sauce. Varied drinks menu. Fast, discreet, and friendly service.
