A very good and quite generous meal, pleasant and multilingual service (French, English, German). Lovely dining room. The only downside is that the restaurant gets noisy quickly.

A lovely establishment well worth a detour from the tourist areas. The menu features many local products. The service is very professional. We loved the local asparagus with its sauce, the generous organic sauerkraut, and the bibalakas 😋

While passing through Colmar, we, a small group of Belgians, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant! The staff is very welcoming, kind, and attentive. The food was excellent. Special mention goes to the high chair, a relic from a bygone era ❤️ We loved being able to put our little one in it and take photos 🤩 If you'd like to try a delicious sauerkraut in a timeless setting, you've come to the right place 😉 Enjoy your meal!

10/06/2026: Had an amazing evening at this lovely wine bar, which also does a really nice line of food too - great if you want to avoid the 'black hole' of Schwendi drawing you back in. The place is run by just two people, but no one was kept waiting. The knowledge of wine was amazing, and I opted for the surprise discovery option twice to taste something new to me and to learn about the wine of the area. Perfect place - will be top of our choices of destination when we move here
