Restaurant Meistermann sur Colmar

Very friendly service, delicious food. We'll be back.

There was only interior seating available in July 2026 due to the infrastructure construction going on outside. There seemed to be quite a lot of locals or French-speaking clientele inside. The quiche with salad was very generous. It came with 2 slices of quiche and a salad with a huge assortment of vegetables and coleslaws. The kidneys had a really nice bite to them and came with a side of spaetzele. The cream sauce was mixed with a mustard which really cut the richness. The AC was very strong which was much needed during one of France's many heatwaves. They also seem to offer a modest lunch buffet for around 20 Euros which includes a handful of proteins and several vegetable options. It is extremely small compared to North American standards.

Located a bit outside the old town, and unfortunately not very attractive from the outside, the restaurant was ultimately very worthwhile. The food was delicious, the service very good, and the additional buffet offered good value for money. I'd gladly come again!

We were a group of eight and had made a reservation. The welcome was very kind and friendly. We ate very well and were served very quickly. The Alsatian dishes were delicious.

A very fine restaurant. It offers the classic French dishes and also offers Alsatian cuisine. There was a lot of construction going on in front of the place, so it can be a bit difficult to get to with that. However, the food was good and appeared to be on par with the region. Out of the 5 dishes we had everyone enjoyed them. The food was good all around. The price point was okay. Recommend it if you are having the time to spend there or happen to park in the garage nearby and your travel group is exhausted and want something good, regional and Alsatian.

I want to give a special mention to the Portuguese waitress who served us. She was lovely and very friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious, and she made the experience even more enjoyable.

We had a truly fantastic meal. Both of us had the steak and couldn't have wished for anything better. The service was friendly, fast, and not at all pushy. Delicious local wine. The interior inside is beautiful. It's a shame that the street is completely dug up, making the terrace a bit less cozy, but that didn't spoil our meal!

We had a wonderful evening at Restaurant Meistermann in Colmar. A very nice Alsatian restaurant in Colmar. Although the menu was only in French, the friendly waiter gave us excellent advice about the dishes in German. The appetizer, main course, and dessert were all superb! If we are ever in Colmar again, we will definitely come back. Thank you very much!

We opted for the buffet option. Unfortunately, the quality and variety of choices were not really up to par.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly. A very pleasant dinner.
