Absolutely a hidden gem. Amazing pastries and dishes. I myself had a delicious apple pie, and a quiche, both among the best I've ever had. Quick, low-key, and friendly service.

I've been eating there every Tuesday at lunchtime for the past three years, either the set menu or à la carte. The food is excellent, varied, and full of flavor, as are the desserts. The owner and her staff are fantastic and take great care of you. Whether you're just passing through or a regular, I highly recommend it. "Tuesday's gentleman"

A bit pricey, but delicious. The rice wasn't quite right for the fish, as it was unseasoned and there wasn't enough sauce on the fish itself. Since this is a café, the cake for dessert was amazing.

11/08/2026: Excellent food and top-notch staff with a great sense of humor. They understand that good food isn't enough. We had a good laugh.
09/08/2026: We had two lovely meals. The first time, we enjoyed the excellent dishes on the menu in the garden. Nicely presented and tasty. The second time, we tried the flamkuchen and they were fine too. Unfortunately, we couldn't sit outside due to the threatening thunderstorm.

11/05/2026: Full stars for the team's energy and commitment to providing the best possible welcome to guests. We were passing through by bike on our Vosges crossing. We wanted for nothing! (Good meals, good rest, good breakfast) Top-notch! Thank you for our interactions.
06/04/2026: I don't comment very often during my trips (I think this is actually the first time). However, I think the owners and Staff from Hotel-Restaurant La Bonne Franquette absolutely deserved it. I spent my 2026 Easter Weekend there. My room was clean and the bed very comfy, the food at the restaurant was excellent. But most importantly, the Staff was simply incredible. I hope that my trips will bring me back to the Alsace, if this happen, I will book there again on a heartbeat.
