What a treat to eat at this restaurant! I highly recommend it.

Perfect from start to finish. Super tasty food, both the meat and the fish. Oven-baked, with tasty potatoes and haricots. A lovely bottle of wine to go with it and a super tasty dessert. I would say hats off! The staff were super friendly. Our French is quite limited, but the waiter addressed us in German, which we indeed understand and speak, and asked if we were German or Dutch. When we confirmed the latter, he spoke a few words of Dutch. I would definitely visit this restaurant again if we are in the area.

Very high-quality cuisine. Great experience, although the service is quite slow, meaning you need to book your entire evening for a starter/main course/dessert menu.

As always, it's a real pleasure, whether it's the welcome, the food, or the atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the marrow bones (which you can only find here) and I tried the Black Angus carpaccio for the first time: excellent. In short, a superb place. Congratulations to the whole team. Excellent food, but the experience was spoiled by the service and the smoke. A very mixed review for this establishment where the food barely makes up for the shortcomings of the service. The positives (Food): The food is undeniably very good. The ingredients are well-prepared, and a special mention goes to the hanger steak, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. No complaints there. The negatives (Service & Atmosphere): Intrusive and inappropriate service: The attitude of a waitress (a woman in her forties) was particularly unpleasant. Simply wanting to order a bone marrow, I was insistently told that "it's an appetizer and it won't be enough." Despite my explanation that I wanted to eat this before deciding what to order, the response was clearly irritated and inappropriate. The same reaction occurred when ordering drinks: when I asked for water, a loaded "Oh, nothing else? No alcohol?" ruined the experience. Furthermore, when ordering food, the servers automatically added a side dish several times. I ordered rice and received rice and fried potatoes, the servers' excuse being "It's a mistake," which cost an extra €2 each time, and I noticed this problem at other tables. This constant pressure to consume more is very uncomfortable. Cigarette smoke problem inside: Seated at the front of the ground floor dining room, we were subjected to cigarette smoke all the way to the bar. The establishment allows customers to smoke immediately outside the entrance, creating a draft that draws the smoke directly into the dining area. For your information regarding the legal aspects: If the terrace is open, Article R. 3512-2 of the French Public Health Code strictly prohibits smoking in all enclosed and covered public spaces. Furthermore, Article R. 3515-3 of the French Public Health Code punishes restaurant owners who "knowingly encourage, by any means whatsoever, the violation of the smoking ban" with a 4th-class fine of up to €750. Allowing customers to smoke so close to an open door that smoke permeates an enclosed space violates the obligation to protect customers from secondhand smoke. It's a shame, the quality of the food deserved much better, but this lack of professionalism in the dining room and the ventilation problem frankly detract from the experience.

It's always a real pleasure to visit this establishment. Excellent value for money, and what can I say about the wood-fired cooking? I highly recommend it, and I'm not the only one, as this restaurant has been around since 1975, I believe.

This restaurant is an icon; we've been eating there regularly for over 10 years and it's always a great pleasure. It has a typical brasserie atmosphere; the restaurant is lively, which is part of its charm. The cooking and preparation are superb. The potatoes are to die for, the green beans are excellent, the sauces are perfectly balanced, and the desserts are enormous. The service is always attentive and pleasant; the same team has been there for years, and we love this family atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back for the next 10 years.

It was good, good service, quick. There was a slight issue with the cooking; it was rare instead of medium, but it wasn't a big deal, it was still good.
