Restaurant Pointe Isabelle sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

The staff were friendly. The clean and tidy room was excellent. The price was also reasonable compared to other hotels. It was very convenient having a supermarket and McDonald's right in front of the hotel. There is also a balcony. Disadvantages: It is a bit of a distance if you use public transportation (bus) instead of a car. It is very noisy outside at night, and you can hear people in other rooms playing music and talking all night long. The guests in the adjacent room even found them and told them to be quiet.

This is a great hotel in central Chamonix. Tips take the number 14 bus to Le Brevent or better known as Pravant Platz at the 'iris, eye shop' 5 minutes from the hotel to get up the slopes. The young staff are lovely. Shout out to Jacob and Constanza for their smiles and positive help. We ate there 4 nights out of the 5 as the food was great and 20-30 euro each. Walk thru the lovely French shops and great service and cheese/ham/wine. Remember your manners and say 'Bonjour' when the shop holders say the same. Room excellent. Ask for a kettle if you bring your own tea. Tried the sauna and it was lovely. Chamonix is not pretentious and I've come back with a renewed admiration for French cuisine. Coffee at the little coffee shop serving Brioche sandwiches 100m towards the town centre in the left. Apres ski sit in the French wooden restaurant in the evening sun 100m up and left from the hotel opposite the pink restaurant. Decathlon for cheaper gear you have forgotten. Don't forget to get the red train at the station to the Glacier 1/2 days rest from ski/walking. Just pack a smile and some euro. Recommended to make you feel alive again:)

A very warm welcome for our group of 11. The room was quiet, the service impeccable, the staff very pleasant, and the chef even prepared a special birthday cake. Excellent value for money. We had a very enjoyable evening! Thank you to the whole team

We had a fantastic experience at Pointe Isabelle during our stay in Chamonix. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and our waitress Julia was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The food was excellent – really well prepared, generous portions, and full of flavour. It’s a great mix of classic bistro dishes and local Savoyard influences, and everything we tried was delicious. The drinks selection was also fantastic. The manager recommended a bottle of Drappier Brut Nature and it was incredible – crisp, clean and the perfect pairing with the meal. The setting is brilliant as well, right in the heart of Chamonix with a lively but comfortable atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend the whole evening enjoying great food, great wine, and excellent service. If you’re visiting Chamonix and looking for a relaxed but high-quality restaurant, I would highly recommend Pointe Isabelle. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town.

Hello, I didn't stay at the restaurant, but I ate there with my family. Wow, the restaurant is magnificent! The atmosphere is calm, the staff is incredibly friendly, and we received our food super quickly (and it was delicious). The tiramisu was OH MY GOD, INCREDIBLE!!! ✨ Thank you to Danina for her kindness and service!

The hotel has a really good location near the train station by 3 min walking , perfect greeting from the staff , and the rooms is has great views to the mountains.

The hotel is beautiful and centrally located, its only drawbacks are the lack of soundproofing and the bad smell in the elevators on my last night, but overall the hotel is lovely 🤩

Modern, spacious rooms and incredibly friendly staff! The hotel bar is excellent. The only area for improvement is the breakfast, which was a bit limited/basic compared to the rest of the experience
