Restaurant Saint Etienne sur Aubazines

The dining room was lovely. The meal was decent. However, I didn't understand the refusal to let me order one item from the set menu and one from the à la carte menu, specifying that I would pay the à la carte price because it was difficult to accommodate my allergies. And then they added, "You understand, it's a question of price," especially since it was a puff pastry with scallops, which my partner was able to order, but which was actually made with scallops.

Fantastic restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed the gourmet cuisine, with excellent ingredients expertly prepared – a true delight. We'll be back often. Bravo to the Chef and the team!

A wonderful find after a few kilometers of winding road. The setting is very pleasant, the service is impeccably professional, and the food is exquisite. We particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked sweetbreads and their accompanying accompaniments. Highly recommended.

I recommend the signature menu. We found a welcome respite from the heat inside this magnificent hotel restaurant. I would gladly return during a future stay in Corrèze to discover new dishes.

Beautiful Louis XIII style dining room. A stopover during a visit to Aubassine. Impeccable and pleasant service. Good food. Excellent dessert; the walnut ice cream soufflé was a particular highlight. I will return and I highly recommend it.
