A great find on a Saturday lunchtime, with many "real" restaurants closed. A warm welcome and quick service. A varied menu including pizza (very good) and brasserie fare, with good value for money. The dining room, decorated like an old inn (which it perhaps is), is cozy with small booths for two. Thank you to the staff for their efficiency.

An iconic Niort restaurant. A very old restaurant. It's been there for ages, and many of us have childhood memories there! That's certainly true for me! The owners have changed. They're absolutely wonderful! It's like they've always been there! You can tell they were born to do this! They love what they do! It's as if they're part of the building! Their dishes are delicious! Their pizzas are divine! And their whipped cream!!! The real deal! To die for! I highly recommend this restaurant. For once, it's not a chain! I think it's important to support independent restaurants that give a city its soul! Thank you to Astrid and her husband, and to the whole team as well, for everything!

A must-visit in Niort! At Le Sorrento, everything is in place for an exceptional experience. Astrid and Stéphane embody generosity: in the food, in the welcome, and in the service. You immediately feel at ease, like guests rather than just customers. The team is friendly and attentive, and that makes all the difference. It's impossible not to mention Astrid's desserts… already irresistible in photos, they are simply incredible in person. Once you've tasted them, it's hard not to come back for more (or even to think about them long afterward 😄). And then there are the platters! Perfect for an evening with friends: finely sliced ​​and beautifully presented charcuterie, a crudité platter that resembles a true spring painting, and absolutely delicious sauces that elevate the whole experience. In short, flawless from start to finish. A restaurant that I highly recommend — and where I will return, without hesitation!
