This place was perfect as a break from the GR20. The staff was very friendly and treated my bad French with good humour. Room was clean and restaurant was outstanding.

The room is a little old and dusty but the service was really very good, especially since I arrived late after my GR20 stage and I was taken care of very well. I also had a buffet breakfast which was great with a good choice of foods. Location-wise it’s a bit isolated.

Mixed experience at the restaurant level. Special welcome (as if the staff had been hired the same day). Announcement that there is no longer a children's menu (no alternative solution is offered, other than taking adult dishes). Nice presentation of the plates, but expensive for what is in them.

Very pleasant hotel and excellent restaurant. The managers are adorable and very welcoming. The only downside is the proximity of the road with an S-shaped bend, a source of screeching tires and honking of horns. Fortunately it is not very busy at night and this does not interfere with sleep.

I show up today with my wife who has already been to the hotel and has praised me. Unfortunately full, I would like to highlight the cozy decoration and above all a very pleasant welcome. I recommend this establishment where I am certain that you will only be able to have a very good time.

We had a very good time at Hôtel U Castellu. Very good service, very attentive staff. So friendly and helpful for all our needs. Around the Hôtel the nature is incredibly beautiful.

15/10/2024: We made an unplanned stop at this hotel and had a very pleasant time there during our GR20! The landlady on the phone made our arrival much easier by having us picked up from the station (the hotel is 3km a little further up). Our triple room was a little dated in terms of decor but clean and spacious, we were able to benefit from the laundry and dryer service to wash our hiking clothes (big plus). The large living room, decorated in the style of an old mansion, is atypically charming, very comfortable and equipped with a stove, ideal for enjoying a warm aperitif! The restaurant menu is a little expensive but the dishes are well cooked and generous. Thank you for your welcome!
06/10/2024: Hotel in its original state, but it feels extremely good..we stayed 3 days following bad weather on the GR.. The manager and staff are very friendly, giving you good advice. Living room by the fireplace, generous and excellent cuisine, beautiful table. A 20/20 for the cleanliness of the rooms.
