My mother and I went there as part of our participation in the Bon d'Albi festival. We came to this restaurant for the first time during our break and honestly the quality of the food is incredible, especially for vegans. I highly recommend this restaurant 👍🏼

Very good, unpretentious restaurant. Fast service, fairly varied selection, reasonable prices, and the taste is there. Very delicious vegan chocolate mousse. In short, what more could you ask for?

It was amazing to find a vegetarian restaurant in Albi. Having the whole menu to choose from was great and the food did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and attentive. They also had the best cidre during my time in France!

Very nice place, it's a shame we didn't book in advance, however when we arrived at the place they showed us a table apart from the room, in front of the kitchen which I really didn't like. Luckily, they immediately realized they had screwed up and put us in the main room, perhaps because they had a baby? However, she was very good and attracted the sympathy of the guests. Despite this small inconvenience, the dishes were very well prepared, I had the vegetarian burger which was delicious like all the other courses, including tiramisu. 😋

The best vegetarian restaurant in Albi! I eat there every weekend and it’s a real pleasure every time. The setting is warm, the team is adorable, and the food is delicious with excellent value for money. It is also the only address in town for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free people. Right in the center, a stone's throw from Place du Vigan, it's a gem not to be missed!

05/12/2024: A big thank you for the welcome, impeccable service, wines and fine and original dishes. At the top! I recommend!
02/12/2024: We had lunch, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We tend to choose the Alchimy for 'special occasions', because it still retains a 'special' ambience in terms of the surroundings, the quality of service and food. On this occasion we had an excellent lunch - high quality ingredients, well-served with imaginative but not fussy presentation. The wine, from the impressive wine list, with a good choice by the glass (which makes a change from something squirted out of a wine box), was excellent - it is nice to have wine properly served, at the correct temperature. So, we continue to recommend the Alchimy restaurant and will certainly enjoy returning on our own, and with family and friends. One thing we would like to say: the service is very good - friendly and efficient .... on this occasion, and the previous occasion, it felt more informal, which was fine and we like that - but don't go too informal; and while the restaurant was fairly full, it was not crowded and yet there was a bit of a feeling of being rather stressed (this was very noticeable on our previous visit) - please be careful with this, for while clients should be empathetic when staff are working hard, they do not want to be caught up with stress - we come to be relaxed. We have eaten in France for many years and we realise how challenging the business now is - and the Alchimy remains one of our favourite places and we hope it can retain what makes it special.

Le Bruit en Cuisine

05/07/2025: The welcome is very friendly and the servers are efficient and friendly. As for the setting, it is very pleasant. We tried the lamb. The chef must have made a mistake somewhere because we found it too dry and difficult to eat. Too bad. We will return to try this lamb again.
