It was very good! The Viennese coffee and Viennese hot chocolate are exquisite and served in large portions! My favorite café in Paris! The pastries and viennoiseries are also delicious.

A delightfully Parisian experience in a tiny tea room, which has been in its original form for years. Funny little ladies buzz around in this hive. Special mention goes to the hot chocolate. I wasn't blown away by the downright heavy lemon cake, but the prune rissole is fabulous.

My mom frequented this place as a student in the 1950ies. I did too in the 1980ies. Now i visit it each time i am in Paris. The quality and the charm of the place have not been altered one bit. It serves the best hot chocolate, viennese , polish and hungarian pastries west of Mittel-Europa.

They don't make baguettes, unfortunately, but they're incredibly nice nonetheless. The lady recommended another bakery a little further away.

I am still very attached to this institution, which welcomed my first steps as a student in Paris in the late 1950s; I happily find the same specialties there, as original as they are timeless. The setting is also evocative of a student world for whom this warm and quality address was an opportunity to meet and take time, engaging in lively discussions over Viennese chocolate and a Linzer, a Strudel, or a Black Forest cake. Last year, I met a retired pediatrician there who, like me, had come to rediscover in this unique pastry shop the atmosphere of discovery and enthusiasm of her student years.
A big thank you to the staff of this venerable institution who, by bringing it to life every day, contribute to prolonging the unforgettable experience of its satisfied and grateful customers.
