Memories of a Sorbonne student who loved strudel, linzer torte, comforting Burgenländisch pastries, and other Viennese treats, tongues tucked under my arm when it was packed for afternoon tea ;)
It seems smaller than I remembered.
Simple, good, hearty, and inexpensive. Quiches for 5, salads for 10, Viennese pastries around €4. And the homemade whipped cream...
No pets allowed! And that's a good thing, I don't miss a single crumb!

I've been coming here since the 1970s; the quality of the pastries reminds me of my trips to Austria. What's more, the staff is welcoming and the decor has remained unchanged.

I was a little disappointed with the address I'd saved a while ago. At first glance, it seemed very traditional and authentic, especially the storefront.
But ultimately, the pastries we tried didn't live up to expectations (the "fruit" crumble had pineapple, and the Viennese apple tart had sour apples with seeds in it...). In short, it didn't meet our expectations.

Everything you'd expect from a classic Austrian pastry shop.
The sweets were very well made and delicious, the coffee was very good, and the service was fast.
