⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are restaurants where you eat well, and then there are places that transport you to another era. Chez Charlotte, in Aix-en-Provence, definitely belongs to the latter category. As soon as you enter, with the piano at the entrance, you're immersed in an artistic atmosphere. Then you discover the small internal garden: cozy, intimate, romantic. For a moment, it truly feels like you've stepped into an Impressionist painting, with colors and light reminiscent of Van Gogh's Provence. The cuisine is excellent and Provençal (not touristy), prepared in full view, a detail that adds even more charm to the experience. The service is friendly and spontaneous, never overly formal, perfectly in tune with the spirit of the place. What I appreciated most is that it doesn't feel like a restaurant built for tourists: it's frequented mostly by locals, and this gives it a rare authenticity. A little gem, one of those places you never forget. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

We loved the quality of the food: fresh, local ingredients and delicious homemade recipes! The service was excellent and the courtyard was very pleasant. A wonderful experience all around. We'll definitely be back! ☀️

A lovely spot away from the noise of the city, in an inner courtyard. Slightly expensive for the quality and service.

Excellent restaurant, small menu but everything is homemade; the risotto of the day with a hint of star anise was superb. Orange blossom crème brûlée, lemon meringue, and all gluten-free! Kudos to the team and the friendly waiter.
