An authentic restaurant with an indoor dining room and a lovely patio/garden. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu is simple, as are the flavors, but overall they offer authentic and enjoyable cuisine. The meat was cooked to perfection. A great alternative to the city's touristy restaurants.

My father and I had lunch there two weeks ago, and it was a delightful and unforgettable experience. Tucked away on a small, slightly hidden street, you'll find this superb restaurant, which definitely deserves its place in the Petit Futé guide! The restaurant's decor is very cozy, with a distinctly French feel. As for the food, it's just like the decor: a real treat. I had my beef tartare, which was perfectly seasoned. And the dessert? The crumble, still warm, was worthy of a grandmother's recipe. In short, a must-try; it was an honor to dine there. I'll definitely be back!

A completely different experience from the one I had 6 months ago. This time, the owner was as welcoming as ever, and the homemade food, prepared practically right before your eyes, was delicious. As luck would have it, the chef shared a frangipane galette with homemade puff pastry with us – a real treat! I'll be back.

We were visiting Aix en Provence and came across this restaurant from a friend recommendation and it was an amazing experience. The food was so good! My family and I ate the chicken and the fish and both were superbly cooked and the sauces were very rich, flavourful and so tasty. The service was very friendly and kind, and my daughter who had a nut allergy was attentively accounted for. The desserts were amazing as well and very nice. Our favourite was the crème brûlée. The atmosphere was great and felt homey and comforting, 10/10 experience would come back!

We ate at "Chez Charlotte" on a friend's recommendation and were more than satisfied with our evening. The storefront is unassuming, but it hides a very friendly and welcoming place, just like the service. The food is remarkable and well-balanced. The sea bass fillet was perfectly cooked, and the desserts were excellent. Thank you for a lovely time.

Small table, three people sitting on a table meant for two, and on top of that, the table was wobbly. At the end of the meal, a bread basket was placed on top of the dirty plates. A shame, because the food was decent.

16/04/2026: A superb discovery! We had dinner at Vintrépide last night with friends, and everything was perfect for a wonderful evening. We were seated in the quiet cellar, surrounded by bottles of wine—a truly intimate atmosphere. The welcome was warm and attentive, and the wine list is simply outstanding. As for the food, the selection is intentionally limited, which for me is a real sign of quality: seasonal produce, homemade dishes… and this is confirmed on the plate! We sampled several starters and main courses: the cooking was perfectly executed, the seasonings spot-on, and each dish was meticulously prepared. Special mention should also go to the fact that there are only two of them, one in the kitchen and one serving. A huge congratulations for this daily dedication—we know the realities of the profession, and it's not always easy. It's the kind of place you leave feeling like you had a truly great time, with absolutely no regrets. As a restaurant owner myself, I'm quite demanding… and this place is flawless: 10/10. 17/04/2026: I went there a few days ago in the evening for a Cuba Libre. The staff was very inattentive, and the Cuba Libre, which cost €9, was only mediocre. I would have ordered something else, but the staff didn't even bother to ask, so I made a hasty exit. It was awful.
07/04/2026: We always love coming back here, whether for a beer, an aperitif, or sometimes for dinner or lunch. The vibe is authentic, with locals gathering and celebrating togetherness. The tartare is so good, as are the cheese and charcuterie boards. Super place!
