Good alfresco dining, despite it being a rather hot and humid evening. Food was excellent, service attentive.

When visiting Aix-en-Provence, we regularly eat at Chez Charlotte. We always receive a very warm welcome, and the patio setting is particularly pleasant. The food is excellent; we're never disappointed. The service is quick and very friendly. Highly recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are restaurants where you eat well, and then there are places that transport you to another era. Chez Charlotte, in Aix-en-Provence, definitely belongs to the latter category. As soon as you enter, with the piano at the entrance, you're immersed in an artistic atmosphere. Then you discover the small internal garden: cozy, intimate, romantic. For a moment, it truly feels like you've stepped into an Impressionist painting, with colors and light reminiscent of Van Gogh's Provence. The cuisine is excellent and Provençal (not touristy), prepared in full view, a detail that adds even more charm to the experience. The service is friendly and spontaneous, never overly formal, perfectly in tune with the spirit of the place. What I appreciated most is that it doesn't feel like a restaurant built for tourists: it's frequented mostly by locals, and this gives it a rare authenticity. A little gem, one of those places you never forget. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

Exquisite! A little bit hidden. But this restaurant has to be tried if you go to Aix en Provence. Cosy, confortable atomspher with excellent food.
