Rifugio Terzo Alpini sur Nevache

Excellent restaurant, easily accessible; anyone who wants to can reach it just a few meters away with a nice walk, bike ride, or car.

Excellent service and an alpine refuge in a wonderful location in the narrow valley. They told me on the phone that I could pay with a debit card, but actually, they told me they didn't have one.

Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. After a long walk, a warm and welcoming refuge. Friendly staff. The portions are generous. Everything was delicious. The polenta was good. Quality cured meats. Recommended.

I can’t even remember how many times I came here, it’s an amazing spot for a stop both in summer and winter, the polenta is heartwarming and the appetisers very diverse but all tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and the owners and waiters are very kind. I definitely definitely recommend to come here and I know already I’ll come back yet again in the future!

A wonderful place! We visited this refuge in December. We parked at Pian del Colle just before the barrier that closes the road. Then we hiked up on snowshoes (also possible with good shoes), a 1.5-hour climb with about 400 meters of elevation gain. We had booked a table at the restaurant. The set lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee) was €28, delicious and generously portioned. The polenta was a delight! The service is perfect, the staff is very friendly. We wanted to stay there, nice and warm! A typical refuge, just the way we like them :)
