Riva sur Aix-Les-Bains

We ate here a little away from the docks, and we're so glad we did. We followed the reviews. Don't judge a book by its cover. As soon as you walk in, you're given a warm welcome. As for the food, we wished we could have come back to try something else, it was so good. We chose lasagna with a mixed salad and an excellent homemade gourmet coffee. The lavender ice cream was a delightful surprise. The owner can recommend the perfect wine pairing. Here, conviviality is key, and you feel right at home. Keep up the good work; we need places like this!

Excellent restaurant. A small menu is a sign of quality. The octopus and beef carpaccio were delicious.

The "Le Vesuve" pizza without the muscle is super delicious, lightly spiced, just the right amount. If you deliver, I'd be very interested.

Good home cooking but limited side dishes: Provençal tomato + fries equivalent to 1 potato is more than light!!

Very charming family owned restaurant.

We had the octopus linguine. It was delicious. The macadamia and chocolate mint ice cream is unique. The waiter was welcoming and smiling. We loved the friendly and calm atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic! This establishment, discovered two years ago thanks to TripAdvisor and Google reviews, has become a must-stop on our trips to Savoie. It's perfect outside of peak tourist season, and parking is easy. Nothing has changed; everything is fresh and homemade. From the welcome to the dessert, everything is perfect, and for us, on March 21, 2026, the seafood sauerkraut was exceptional. Thank you to the owner for the cooking (we were impressed by the perfect cooking of the three types of fish), to Mom for the service (during our previous visits), and to the son who has joined this lovely family establishment with his ease, professionalism, and energy. Just for the sake of a smile—and it's part of the family atmosphere—the owner, in the kitchen, listens to 60s and 70s pop music, thankfully at a low volume.

Intimate, excellently cooked, pleasant service. I highly recommend it.
