Passing through Lyon, we stumbled upon Le Rose Indien… and sometimes, chance truly works wonders! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner's niece, a veritable ray of sunshine, whose kindness instantly brought a smile to your face. Then came the journey… A journey on the plate, first and foremost, with dishes of exceptional quality, prepared with finesse, passion, and care. Each bite was a discovery. And subsequently, we discovered much more than just a restaurant… Thanks to the owner, a true enthusiast, we traveled through history. What a joy to connect with someone who shares their knowledge with such passion and generosity. We left with our taste buds tingling, our heads brimming with wonderful discoveries, and our hearts filled with the joy of a truly beautiful encounter. There are restaurants we appreciate… and then there are those we never forget. Le Rose Indien is undoubtedly one of those places. A magnificent experience, a culinary and cultural journey, and an encounter that will stay with us forever. A very pleasant surprise. The food is excellent; the dishes are prepared with a genuine desire to do things well, to please, and to share knowledge. We met Rolland, the manager, who was constantly moving between the dining room and the kitchen. He served us, cooked for us, and told us snippets of history from his native India. He is a fascinating and passionate person. There's nothing to criticize; the food is delicious, the restaurant is impeccably clean, and the management is incredibly attentive.
