Rosemarie sur Paris

I opted for a slightly more upscale set menu, which included a "blind box" of dishes based on the day's ingredients. The chef was quite generous, and the food was delicious—one of my top two restaurants during my Paris trip.

This restaurant came recommended, we had a great time, food , service, ambiance were all perfect, the clams, langoustine ravioli, tomato & feta soup , scallops, risotto all perfect. Go you will not be disappointed 🥂🦞

Seated indoor but near open air patio seating which is lovely but too close to smokers seated outside which made the dining experience less enjoyable. The food and service are excellent

Fantastic place!!! Nina in the dining room, Philippe in the kitchen, and their teams do a wonderful job! Our dinner was delicious, and we loved spending that last beautiful summer night on the terrace with friends. The staff took excellent care of us with generosity and kindness! Thank you! The only improvement I could suggest: instead of the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream, I would have preferred a cake made with the same (very good) chocolate, served warm, gooey, and molten, with the ice cream served on the side. Very touristic restaurant. Many foreigners and barely any french people. Fresh bistrot food with good service, but be aware that food is classic and lacks twist/originality/surprise. For a classic bistrot food, the bill is also quite hefty and to be honest it is not justified as products served are standards and not at all luxurious. 14 Euros for an egg mimosas that has no particular taste is a joke, 28 Euros for a simple dish of the day or 36 Euros for a fillet of cod while desserts are priced at 16 Euros. For that tariff you can have lunch at a much better place, one offering finer food with some taste and zing. With an aperitif, you will get to 75 Euros/pax which is totally unjustified. You can get elevated food for that price tag. It could be a place I would recommend if the price was right. You can find similar restaurants anywhere in Paris at lunch time for 35-40 Euros instead of 55-75. So, better go to a better place. Overpriced and food is nothing special.

Lunch at Rosemarie, hoping to discover a gourmet experience worthy of its Michelin Guide selection. For a starter, the celery remoulade with smoked haddock (€12) unfortunately didn't win me over. It was far too salty and rather heavy, with a combination of ingredients that, in my opinion, lacked finesse. An appetizer that doesn't really leave a lasting impression, except for the feeling of having had a bit too much salt. The cod loin with summer vegetables and a spiced shellfish jus was significantly more successful. The fish was delicate, light, and refined, and the dish much more harmonious. But at €35, one is entitled to expect more. The value for money seemed rather difficult to justify, especially compared to other Bib Gourmand establishments. Another minor drawback: there's no set lunch menu, which is a shame for a restaurant of this caliber. Admittedly, the absence of a set menu isn't uncommon, even in some Michelin-starred or Bib Gourmand restaurants, but it certainly makes the bill harder to justify when ordering à la carte. And above all, the service was particularly slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our starter, then another 30 to 40 minutes between the starter and the main course. In total, lunch lasted about an hour and a half. For Paris, that's quite a long time, especially since it was a weekday lunch, in the middle of the workday. The restaurant was also far from full that day, which didn't really explain such a long wait. In the end, I didn't have dessert: after 30 minutes for the starter and another 40 minutes for the main course, I preferred not to risk turning lunch into dinner. In the end, a successful cod, but an experience that did not seem to me to be quite up to the prices charged.

Sauce was delicious. Pork and mashed potato more ordinary. Blunt 'sharp' knife was more use for separating than cutting
