A truly wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time at Maison Michaud. The setting is simply idyllic, on the banks of the Fier River, with a beautiful view of the garden. The restaurant is magnificent and perfectly blends tradition and modernity with great taste. The cuisine is a real success: refined and elegant, yet unpretentious. The ingredients are fresh, local, and seasonal, with some even coming directly from the garden. You can feel the genuine care given to the ingredients and the precision of the dishes. The service is also top-notch: attentive, responsive, and warm, while perfectly matching the high standards of the cuisine. The staff is present just the right amount, contributing fully to the enjoyment of the meal. We also had the pleasure of staying in one of their guest rooms, which was very pleasant, comfortable, and perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the place. A lovely way to extend the experience and fully appreciate this magnificent setting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end and had a wonderful time. A very warm welcome. The room is spacious, with a small dining area and a sitting area. The bathroom is a bit cramped. The bed is comfortable. The restaurant has a lovely menu featuring local produce. Reservations are recommended as it gets busy in the evenings!

An exceptional restaurant; we truly appreciate this place. We come every vacation. An explosion of flavors, exquisite and delicious dishes, prepared with local ingredients, beautifully presented, and always described in detail. We are always very satisfied with the dishes served to us with great warmth and professionalism. The wine pairings are always well-considered. During this vacation, we first came for the 5-course menu and then again for the 7-course Grand Colombier menu. We would like to thank the kitchen staff who ensured that every dish served was different from those of our first visit. We highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly return as soon as possible.

An exceptional meal from aperitif to dessert. It's rare to find such balance at each stage of a meal. We'll come back to that.

We had a very mixed experience at La Maison Michaud. The restaurant was perfect: superb, generous, and flawlessly executed cuisine. We had an unforgettable time. Similarly, the breakfasts served in the garden were a feast for the eyes and the palate. However, the rooms were a much less pleasant experience. We had two rooms without air conditioning or soundproofing, where we suffered from the heat and the noise of traffic outside. The mezzanine layout of the room was uncomfortable, even dangerous. We hope to return to La Maison Michaud in the future, once the talented young team that has taken over this lovely inn on the banks of the Fier River has completed the renovations. We wish them the best of luck, thank them again, and congratulations on their commitment to being creative and brilliant restaurateurs!

A truly lovely spot on the banks of the Fier River where the cuisine is top-notch. As they say, "we were pleasantly surprised." Everything was delicious, original, and perfectly executed. This young team has a very promising future! Of course, there are still some improvements to be made. I wish them all the best because this team deserves to succeed. They're off to a great start, in any case!
