A TRULY AMAZING MOMENT Discovering the venue for my best friend's wedding, what can I say except thank you. The welcome, the staff, the food, the venue, the wine list... in short, everything was perfect. A truly exquisite, generous, and passionate experience. We came for a quick dinner on a Monday evening at the restaurant and overall we were very impressed. As for the food, the quality was excellent. The artichoke and the focaccia with snails were both superb starters. One small drawback, however: the €12 supplement for the focaccia seemed a bit steep considering the portion size, which we expected to be more generous. The same goes for the beef cheek: very good, but beware of the €15 supplement… per person. This quickly adds up to €30 for two, which isn't immediately obvious from the menu. For dessert, the Irish coffee was perfect. However, the Poire Belle-Hélène contained a crumble (a type of soaked cake at the bottom) which wasn't clearly mentioned. It's a matter of taste, but it would be worth mentioning to avoid any surprises. Regarding the wine, we made a poor choice (a natural wine, somewhere between rosé and white), which didn't suit our tastes at all. The explanations provided were fine, but perhaps offering more bottles around €30 would make the experience more accessible for a casual dinner. On the other hand, the welcome was excellent: pleasant staff, very clean establishment, and a magnificent dining room with large bay windows – truly delightful. In short: a great place with quality cuisine. A few adjustments to the clarity of the supplements and the wine list would be a real plus. Overall rating: 14/20 We will probably return, just be mindful of the supplements 🙂
