My husband and I had lunch at Restaurant Le Royal and had a wonderful time. We received an extremely warm welcome in a beautiful, elegant, and inviting setting—exactly the kind we love. The service was absolutely perfect: professional, polite, and attentive, yet relaxed and natural. A perfect balance that made the experience particularly enjoyable. As for the food, it was a real treat! Everything was delicious, and we truly enjoyed our meal. A fantastic restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back! ❤️

The food is very good and very well presented, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the only downside was that there were too many tables for the number of waiters and the service was slow, but nothing too serious

A lovely spot for drinks on the terrace near the Opéra Garnier. The decor is magnificent, with large mirrors and chandeliers in the main room. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

24/06/2026: Regarding takeout only: the website ordering process is very smooth, the products are always fresh, and the menu is regularly updated with truly healthy options. They also offer a loyalty card and a special heatwave discount! And I'm always greeted by my first name when I pick up my order. I love it; it's my go-to spot when I'm in Paris.
12/06/2026: The cashier wasn't very friendly, unfortunately, even though the younger staff were nice. I struggled to understand the €3 surcharge for the salmon (for only 5 pieces), then another charge for a small piece of bread, and yet another for the bag? ... At one point, enough is enough: I just want a salad! I was given a lecture after expressing my surprise at the quality of the gravlax they offered (isn't it salmon with salt and herbs?). The products look good and are of good quality, I don't dispute that. However, you're located next to a university, with a clientele largely composed of students and people who don't necessarily live in the 6th arrondissement. It might be helpful to adapt your approach and pricing policy to this reality. It's a shame, because the products seem good, but the experience leaves a mixed impression due to the service. !! No toilets in the restaurant!!

26/09/2026: Disappointed. The place, which aims to be a typical Parisian brasserie, is old and poorly maintained, with a holey banquette and a damaged bar. The food is good but extremely basic. No wow factor.
