This restaurant is exactly what you'd expect from a "buffet." I could talk about the very limited selection, but let's move on: one thing in particular caught my attention: the almost complete absence of salmon! This delicacy, which we all hope to enjoy in sushi or simply raw, only appears in smoked form. This is extremely disappointing for a fan like me! Aside from that, the service is questionable; the waiters didn't say a word and practically shoved us to get our plates.

The best buffet in Ajaccio. Very wide selection of dishes, always busy. It's best to come in the evening when the selection is better. The wook (wook) is very satisfying, and the sushi is above average for this type of establishment. It's a shame the noise level is so high; there's no background music. The cleanliness of the toilets and the floor often leaves something to be desired, especially the tile grout. The staff is friendly and courteous. There's a long queue to pay at the counter. For me, Royal Gourmand is a sure thing, a reliable, consistent restaurant that respects its customers. I recommend it without hesitation. I also want to address some negative comments I've read, which, in my opinion, don't reflect reality at all. Regarding prices, some people mention amounts ranging from €30 to €40, which is simply untrue. The prices are clearly displayed: – €19.99 for lunch (all you can eat) – €25 for dinner I have been a regular at this restaurant for years and I have never paid such exorbitant prices. Another comment mentions broken or dirty toilets. Again, this is a baseless claim. Since I started coming to Royal Gourmand, I have never noticed any lack of cleanliness or any problems in this regard. On the contrary, hygiene is taken very seriously. Criticizing is a right, but denigrating without proof unnecessarily damages the reputation of a reputable establishment. Let's remain honest and responsible in what we write, because our words and writings have consequences.
