16/09/2024: Hotel: city center close to a large park (Richelieu), quiet. reception: pleasant, the staff is attentive. Accommodation: clean, very good bedding, real “tv” (not confetti as often). Catering: the menu is not huge, but it is good and fresh (homemade). Conclusion: good one-week stay in Richelieu, thank you.

15/09/2024: As part of the journey to the South of France we had planned an overnight stop in Richelieu. This gave us the chance to meet up with friends for the evening on route. Our pleasant room overlooked the square with a view of the church. We had dinner at the hotel and our breakfast the following morning. The menu was limited but the evening was very enjoyable and passed quickly. The food was tasty and the service was good. We awoke refreshed the next morning after a restful nights sleep. We were very well looked after during our stay by the hotels employees who were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clearly part of the local community and seemed popular with visitors and locals. It had a pleasant buzz about it.
