26/03/2024: In a private mansion dating from 1632, the date of the creation of the city desired by Cardinal Richelieu, a very friendly welcome coupled with delightful cuisine. Ideal anchor point for visiting the castles of the Loire, notably Chenonceau. The architectural ensemble of the walled city and the magnificent park prolong the pleasure of dining. 15/08/2023: The restaurant does not take reservations according to the owner on site one hour before the service. Arriving at service time, all the places on the terraces are reserved. The waitress asks us if we have made our choice for the meal…. There is only one dish on the menu... A steak with pepper sauce. The cooking was well respected but the sauce was completely different... after the remark, the correction was made on the menu board... carafe of rosé with a deposit in the bottom... no one came to see us when we had finished to offer us the only dessert on the menu... so head to the cash register and ciao... the only dish and the price are correct... it just lacks competent staff...
