Place where you feel good, friendly staff, top service. The only downside, which is due to the small streets of Chauvigny, is parking. I recommend!

Absolutely worth discovering! My taste buds were amazed by the quality of the dishes cooked, a real enchantment of flavors! A killing! From starter to dessert we travel through the gastronomy of Vienne. Bravo again to the talented cook for her creations that are so generous, original and subtle... you can feel all the love she puts into them. We are welcomed with great warmth and the service is great! The waitress is a real joy. Congratulations to the whole team, if we come back to the region, we will definitely go back!

October 2024. Small restaurant. We went there for a private meal. We didn't eat à la carte, but a mix of cold meats, cheese, hummus... It was very good. On a slate the origin of the raw materials was indicated: Almost everything is local and organic. To be done again, but with the normal card.

Pleasant restaurant where there are very few tables and that's not bad, pleasant staff. A little expensive I think for what it is, I was afraid that my friend would end up hungry by taking the dish (Gnocchi) and cheese, it was just right. The tiramisu didn't look like tiramisu at all, a little disappointing, as I love this dessert. The bill was steep.

Passing through the streets of the medieval city one Sunday afternoon, I was looking for a place to have a coffee and so found myself on the terrace of this small, well-decorated restaurant. If I cannot judge the quality of the dishes, I can however note the quality of the drinks menu, provided without original alcohol (fruit juices and other local lemonades). As for the reception, nothing more to note but I must emphasize the fact that we were on a Sunday between two services and I am well aware that it is time for the staff to rest. In short, a friendly establishment which has the merit of offering a solution to passing tourists to have a good time!

Smiling, friendly and professional welcome from the waitress. The starters were really very good and very original. (sweet potato falafel, zucchini waffle, smoked trout, fresh cheese and dill). The dish of free-range chicken fillet with fried potatoes and paprika sauce was really excellent. The chicken was really tender. I 😊 100% recommend this restaurant which serves good organic and local products of very good quality. Good value for money.

A warm setting with a small number of tables which gives a very intimate atmosphere and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the place (historic center of the city)! The menu offers varied, quality dishes, everything is local and the products are perfectly crafted. The service is also perfect 😊 I recommend this restaurant 100%, the prices are also very reasonable.

Hotel Restaurant Beausejour

16/11/2025: The Logis Hôtel-Restaurant Beauséjour in Chauvigny is a truly delightful surprise, both warm and authentic, offering excellent value for money. From the moment you arrive, the façade evokes a slightly vintage, family atmosphere, bringing back fond memories of road trips with my grandparents in the 1980s. It's a simple and genuine ambiance, the kind you find less and less these days. The hotel is quiet, both on the street side and the courtyard side, yet ideally located: the town center is only about 200 meters away, perfect for exploring Chauvigny on foot. The recently renovated rooms are pleasant, clean, and perfectly suited for a good night's sleep. They have everything you need without any unnecessary extras, but with a quality that clearly exceeds what you would expect in this category. The restaurant is undoubtedly one of the establishment's greatest assets: a spacious, relaxing dining room, and a set menu for just €16 (starter + main course + dessert) with four or five choices at each course. The menus change weekly, and it shows: the cuisine, prepared by the owner himself, features quality French ingredients, is expertly prepared, generous, and authentic. The food is truly excellent. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which further enhances the enjoyment of your stay. For me, it's simply the best value for money in Chauvigny. An address to recommend without hesitation, whether for a stopover or a longer stay.
11/11/2025: The service was perfect, and the home-style cooking was excellent. The decor is a bit minimalist and retro, but this is more than compensated for by the quality of the welcome.
