The food was as good as the service. I picked this place somewhat randomly, but it deserves so much more recognition! The waiter was amazing!
And even "It's better when it's good" got in here!!

I discovered this restaurant thanks to a Strasbourg local who spoke highly of it, and I’m so glad I followed the recommendation. Taste is personal, of course, but everything we tried was genuinely delightful. There were two of us, and we shared each dish—every plate was delicious. The service was attentive without ever feeling rushed, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The charming interior adds so much to the atmosphere and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We had lunch there today and enjoyed an excellent meal. The "Boeuf d'onglet" was fantastic, and the "Fleichschnaka" was also very tasty, served with delicious Spätzle, sauerkraut, and red cabbage, accompanied by a delicious Pinot Rouge.
For dessert, we had flambéed crème brûlée and cappuccino—everything was superb. The service was exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance was charmingly rustic and cozy. Our little Yorkshire Terrier was also welcome. We will definitely return the next time we are in Strasbourg. Thank you very much, and see you soon!

The food is worthy of a traditional Alsatian Sunday family meal. From local produce to the ice cream for dessert, everything is delicious, nothing is left to chance. A hidden gem in the Petite France district, you almost want to keep it a secret. The service is truly warm and attentive; you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door until the last bite. It's so difficult for locals to find Alsatian food in Strasbourg, between tourist traps and disappointing restaurants, that S'Thomas Struebel is the perfect local find. Thank you! ☀️
