Salon de The Borzeix-Besse sur Treignac

We stopped by chance on the road. We tried two chocolate cakes… absolutely delicious!!! And everything looked amazing! A bit pricey, but excellence comes at a cost! If you're ever in the area, it's worth a visit!

While planning our holiday in Corrèze, I discovered this pastry shop after reading a review on Instagram. It was a given that we would stop by. We ended up going four times, including our last visit in the morning, to bring some pastries home with us. There were eleven of us, and we sampled almost all the pastries, viennoiseries, and some of the ice cream. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious! A real treat! We especially loved three pastries: the Polka, the Suc au May, and the Charles Lachaud. Hats off to the kitchen staff (they're so talented!), and thank you to the sales assistants, who were incredibly kind on every visit.

A truly exceptional pastry chef and chocolatier in this small village in the Corrèze region. The prices are high, reflecting the quality of the products and the expertise of this former Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France). I highly recommend the very regional Suc au May cake, with its concentrated fresh blueberries and melt-in-your-mouth meringue. And the ice cream!! I recommend the seasonal rum raisin ice cream.
