An Italian gem in the heart of Cannes. Special mention for the octopus, absolutely divine, perfectly seasoned. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the Italian expertise. Flawless from start to finish!

Unacceptable! They deserve to call the health department. "Dirty" tables—the trend is for cracked, filthy wooden tables without even a placemat...the floor was filthy beyond filth...black with grime, not to mention the toilets! What a sad image of France...and then there was the dish...swordfish supposedly cooked on a griddle, but surely defrosted and therefore raw inside. I waited 15 minutes for it to be cooked longer, and it was still raw...what a joke of a griddle! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

The food is okay. The service is very French, which is to say, nonexistent. You constantly have to ask for something—water, a menu, the bill. There are tons of people running around, but it's no use. Lunch for two is over 100 euros.

I had 5 pizzas during my stay here in Cannes. This was the best pizza I had all week. With the other four restaurants I had pizza I always said to myself as I bit into the pizza, it’s just not as good as the one I had the first night. Will be frequenting this place for pizza on every subsequent visit to Cannes. Is it the best I’ve ever had? No, but it is the best I’ve had in Cannes so will recommend it to others!

13/03/2026: Nice spot on the port. A local institution. Food prices are reasonable, but drink prices have skyrocketed, especially wines by the glass and beers.
12/03/2026: At La Pizza Cresci I ordered a pepperoni pizza and was handed half of one. Not a mistake, just their idea of portion control. The thing arrived like a small surfboard, folded slightly under the weight of good intentions and molten cheese. We sat outside in the evening air, which had a bit of a chill, though the place itself hummed along happily. One colleague chose lasagne that looked suspiciously worth stealing. The staff moved like people who had seen busy nights before and weren’t worried about it. If you’re hungry in Cannes, this is a very comfortable way to solve the problem.

30/03/2026: It's an Italian-inspired restaurant which I highly recommend; I rarely give 5 stars, but La Piazza deserves it.
25/03/2026: We had the lunch special: rigatoni with chicken and mushrooms. Very good and a generous portion. Quick, friendly, and efficient service.
