Warm atmosphere, top-notch service!

We came with about a hundred English students for a day in Lille, and honestly, we couldn't have asked for anything better! Organizing a meal for such a large group isn't easy, but everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to the organization of the managers and the entire team. The meal was delicious, the service very efficient despite the impressive number of people, and everyone (students and teachers alike) left delighted 😊 A huge thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome, your patience, and your professionalism. You truly helped make this day special!

As a regular customer, we used to stop by every time we passed through the region, but this time I didn't find the warmth of the past.

Reservations are required, but what's the point? We were seated without being asked our names, so why even bother with a reservation? We were placed in a very, very hot room. The servers were clearly overwhelmed, and there were only about twenty people there. In short, the organization seems disorganized. The meal was decent, but the vegetables were undercooked and the main course wasn't very hot. Overall, it was okay, but nothing special. Luckily, the servers were doing their best.

Many items were missing from the menu, no foie gras or scallops. Three hours of service. Shrimp were served too simply, no bread, no butter. Ice cream was missing some flavors, including the mountain sundae. The staff shortage is glaring, both in the dining room and the kitchen. We were also very disappointed the previous time. We thought it was just a fluke. Unfortunately, this experience confirms it. I might not return. PS: The young waiter does everything he can to satisfy his customers! The problem seems to be more systematic.

The mussels were okay, but the service REALLY needs improvement….

I have no complaints about the food, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I must mention the waiter who displayed a certain disdain (which he called humor) in response to my question: "Do you have any connection to the former establishment, 'Les Moules' (formerly located at the corner of Rue de Béthune and Rue des Molfonds)?" He snapped at me, saying he was asked that question at least 200 times a year, which I wasn't supposed to know. In short, he was extremely unpleasant. Aside from this incident (which upset me, as it was my birthday), the other waiters and the head waiter were extremely professional and courteous. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant.

Bang average.. I was hesitant to try as it was under the 4.0 in reviews but I wanted seafood and this place looked charming.. and the decor is awesome! That’s where it ends.. the food was average, sole meunier, average, platter of prawns just average.. In my mistake I went on Sunday and while I understand no one wants to work Sunday, I really felt like I wasn’t welcome there. A couple of staff were welcoming but for the most of it (and I get it it’s Sunday) felt like “order, eat and get out of here” In my 3 days in Lille this was the worst meal I’ve had, would recommend going anywhere else along the strip near here.. I usually don’t leave bad reviews but the potential this place has, and what it’s putting out.. sorry 3 stars is being generous. The most expensive meal I had in Lille with such little to give back.. go if you’re daring, or just try anywhere else and save the €€€
