Sanukiya sur Paris

20/09/2024: A very lovely mix of Japanese and French culinary traditions. I particularly enjoyed the way fresh vegetables are served. They are very fresh (almost crunchy), and delicious. Food is presented like a piece of artwork.

06/08/2024: My neighbor recommended me and my boyfriend who is Japanese to go see this restaurant. She was absolutely right! We were surprised by the authentic and delicious Japanese cuisine. We loved their dishes. What I liked the most was the dessert, especially the mochi with mango and wasabi sauce. The blend of subtle flavors danced in our mouth and it was fantastic! The server was efficient and friendly. What's a shame is the boss's attitude. He was grumbling with his subordinate and I didn't feel good. If you don't understand Japanese, you may not notice it. It reminded me of my old bosses in Tokyo when I worked there. It's a shameful Japanese culture in which bosses blame subordinates' mistakes so harshly that it almost amounts to bullying. It's a shame because the chef's cooking was so good! I would come back at least once a month, but if he still acts like today, I won't come back often. Maybe once a year when I miss a good authentic Japanese dish, which is difficult to find in Paris.
