For the past 15 years, I've come to Sanukiya every time I'm in Paris. I've never been disappointed; the consistency is incredible, with unique flavors I've never found anywhere else!
I live for their tamagoyaki and incredibly delicious gyudon, as well as their super refreshing calpis. The service is always impeccable, and the place is always warm and welcoming. It's truly my favorite spot in Paris; nothing will ever replace it!

It's true, you walk through Paris, open the door, and you find yourself in Japan. We found a seat at the kitchen counter, and it was a sight to see the delicacy, precision, and order in the cooking. Kudos to the team! The food was excellent for those who love those flavors, like me. I had both the Tonjiru and the Karaage. The flavors, the aromas, the warmth of the broth, the delicacy of the udon. The staff is super kind, very good. Kudos, whenever I come to Paris, I always come to you at least once.

Even though it's crowded, if you're alone, a seat opens up quickly, so you get in fairly fast. I was lucky too.
I recommend the lunch menu: for a few euros more, you get really good burdock rice. 🍚
I had the udon with salad 🥗, fresh and nice. Next time, I'd like to try the zaru udon.
It's not amazing, but for the price, it's filling, and I think I'll come back.

The fried shrimp and fried pumpkin were delicious, especially when dipped in udon noodles. The broth for the yuzu udon noodles was also wonderfully pure. The tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet) was also quite tasty, and the yam was absolutely amazing. The last order was at 10 PM, and they were open until 11 PM, so we had plenty of time.

My first Japanese meal in Paris, and everything else since then has been just so-so. It was absolutely delicious, and I would 100% return. The restaurant itself is small, but it's cramped.

Even on a Sunday evening there's a bit of a wait. The service is quick and friendly. The udon noodles are delicious and made fresh! The broths are also really tasty.
