A very good hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the pedestrian areas, which are very nice to see. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, although the soundproofing and the price are a bit high. The restaurant offers good service with a smile, but the prices are too high, even though the food is good.

Great hotel for a good price. Close to the city center. Very spacious room. The hotel is a bit older, but everything is neat and in order. Free parking at the hotel. And very friendly staff. There is a restaurant, but we did not use it.

The hotel is very well located in the beautiful city of Le Puy, with a warm welcome, a lovely room, and comfortable bedding. The restaurant menu could be updated, in my opinion, to appeal to a more modern clientele.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and it's always a pleasure to return, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. The room was lovely with perfect bedding. The breakfast was varied. The welcome was very warm and friendly; all the staff were truly kind and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Black Pearl Bar

13/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery in the heart of Le Puy-en-Velay! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we had a truly delightful time. The burgers are generous and served with a handy little wooden skewer. They were cooked to perfection, and the bun, sprinkled with seeds, adds a delicious texture. It's a place where you feel comfortable and enjoy your meal. We'll definitely be back.

31/08/2026: I see why this restaurant is rated a 4. But the reviews say get there early as it fills up. I ordered the classic sausage and lentils. Thankfully they put some excellent mustard on the table as the lentils were very bland. The sausage was good with the mustard. The atmosphere is lovely sitting outside on a busy square.
31/08/2026: Excellent Japanese tartare, a wonderful discovery. Thank you for the warm welcome despite our late arrival (around 2:00 PM).
