While people elsewhere in France are surprised that we don't speak French, here they make every effort to serve us in Dutch using Google Translate. But that aside. We ate duck. In the Netherlands it is steeply priced in restaurants; here we ate it for €19. One decent piece of meat and perfectly cooked (rare on the inside). We had a delicious meal and the service was super friendly. We only found the bottle of soda expensive (€4.50). We highly recommend this "little eatery"!

Lunch on Wednesday, the restaurant was quiet, we could hear each other. The welcome was excellent, no wait. We were seated in the regulars' room. As for the food, there was a set menu of starter and main course for €17. My husband had an excellent burger and I had a perfectly cooked honey-glazed duck breast, which was excellent. We highly recommend it. Tasty, pleasant, and affordable. Forget the chain restaurants...

Although it looks old-fashioned, the food is super tasty. The Magret de Canard was perfectly cooked and my friend had the meatballs. Simply perfect. Super friendly service.
