We had a great time at the Christmas market. The food was good and the service was quick and friendly. Admittedly, it was crowded and there was a queue for a table, but that's to be expected at this time of year.

Centrally located in Colmar, it's also great to dine outside during the Christmas markets, immersed in the atmosphere. Super friendly service. The food is just average, fine. Please keep a closer eye on the restrooms. Some people apparently don't know how a restroom works these days 😉.

Always a very warm welcome, we often meet there (every time we're in Alsace for the Christmas markets) just to have a drink and then we eat there too, never disappointed 😉😉😉

Despite the crowds at the Christmas markets, the servers were very cheerful and the wait time was well managed. As for the quality of the meal: nothing to complain about.

A warm and very professional welcome. The wait was a little long as there were five of us and a baby, so it required some organization, but they found a solution to ensure we had a pleasant experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will gladly return, as we do every year.

Excellent! A little discovery: bibalakas, which I hadn't tried before. A pleasant surprise! Delicious! The Christmas cocktail and the Christmas beer were also excellent. Friendly atmosphere and attentive service.

06/03/2026: Now this I did not expect at this budget. Gorgeous place! Simple and great. The menu straight forward with one option, that of the day. Ours was a juicy, nicely grilled steak with a piece of bone marrow, and some potatoes. Maybe a bit light on the salad with just a leaf of parsley. Portions, huge! Could barely eat it all. Very quick and friendly service. Can't recommend more... Thank you for a great evening even if we could not stay very long.
07/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! A unique and incredibly delicious dish, truly homemade. And a very friendly welcome – a real little family restaurant worth trying.

L'Essence du Thé

11/03/2026: It's a lovely shop with helpful staff. You can choose it to try different teas, take a break, and warm up. Seating is limited, but we were very pleased with both the teas we tried and the atmosphere; I recommend it.
13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!
