We ended up there spontaneously and, after about a 10-minute wait on a Friday evening, were able to get a table for four people on the terrace. Very friendly service, a wide selection of local dishes, and very fair prices. Excellent!

Nice to be able to eat on time because of our child. Despite only tourists, very friendly service and local food. Reasonably affordable for the location in the city.

The location in the beautiful old town is fantastic. The food wasn't perfect, but overall tasty, and the portions were generous. The prices are also reasonable for a tourist hotspot. The menu is available in English and German, and the staff generally speak more than just French – they're well-prepared for tourists.

A typical Colmar restaurant. Since it was summer, we dined outside. After a short wait and a change of table, the service was quick and efficient. The pork shank with Munster fondue was truly excellent, but the spatzels on the side weren't up to par. The beers were excellent. Decent value for money.

L'Essence du Thé

11/03/2026: It's a lovely shop with helpful staff. You can choose it to try different teas, take a break, and warm up. Seating is limited, but we were very pleased with both the teas we tried and the atmosphere; I recommend it.
13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!
