Excellent tarte flambée with homemade dough. Family atmosphere and friendly staff! On the way to the mountains, the aviary, or the castle... A must-stop!!! (Note added in July 2026: reservations required to get a table!)

S'Hisle is a restaurant serving Alsatian cuisine. The food is regional, simple, and very tasty. When in Alsace, you must try this cuisine. It's worth stopping at S'Hisle to sample the region's dishes. The dishes are delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are affordable. I recommend the seasonal spirits.

A lovely little terrace next to an old medieval fountain. The tarte flambée is a good size and of good quality; the dough seems homemade. A dish that's both rustic and original: Elsass-kintz with wild garlic, a kind of burger reimagined with meatballs and potato pancakes. A hearty and flavorful meal. A very nice place.

Lovely setting, friendly service, wide selection of drinks, excellent and generous tarte flambée (any tarte flambée on the menu can be made vegetarian upon request).
Perhaps it's best to come in the evening as it gets quite hot under the pergola.

We had a super nice evening at 's Hisle. Ideal location. Cozy terrace and friendly service. The menu isn't super extensive, but features fresh and local dishes. The flammkuchen are definitely recommended! The other dishes were also delicious, every single one of them. Be sure to try the tasty ice cream desserts too.... And anyone who enjoys a local Riesling at reasonable prices shouldn't hesitate!
