Slake Coffee sur Annecy

Always top-notch! By far the most professional, friendly, and high-quality place for a good brunch, and also the quickest for a lunch break. They don't skimp on quantity or quality here. The dishes are real dishes, and the chairs are real chairs, not those weird, doll-like, or girly things like at other places (which keep popping up and closing one after another because they're so unprofessional, some are unfriendly, the servers are too slow and nonchalant, the prices are always higher for tiny portions, the bread is stale and the coffee is from the supermarket, there are little cushions you don't need, the decor is cheesy like Barbie, etc., etc., or the opening hours aren't always clear)... Whether you come to Slake regularly or not, they're always consistent and in a good mood. It's just a shame they got rid of the freshly squeezed orange juice machine... Luckily, they have other juices, like the super delicious Detox. Open kitchen and everything is practically made right before your eyes in real time. Women in the kitchen and guys serving, lol! Special mention for the trout pancake and the quality of the ingredients (even the egg is high-quality, locally sourced). They add a little cream, shallots, and just the right amount of seasoning. This is the place to go. It's best to make a reservation or leave your phone number so they can prepare a table for you and send you a text as soon as it's ready. The number of good, high-quality places of all styles in the center of Annecy is plummeting. When an establishment like Slake is approaching its 5th anniversary, you understand why and you highly recommend it (previously called "La Bicyclette Rose" and before that, "Barnabé"). See you soon!

Delicious food and coffee. Staff was friendly. We had Turkish eggs and French toast. Coffee hit the spot as well

The coffee was excellent, and I ordered a cortado. The pancakes were delicious. The atmosphere was noisy, crowded, and lacked air conditioning. There was a wait and a reservation was required.

Very cosy breakfast and lunch coffee bar. Lots of (iced) coffee options. Food options for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. Plant based milk available. Friendly staff!

I ordered cinnamon rolls and v60, as there are limited vegetarian options , would be great to add more vegetarian options like quinoa salad, vegetarian bowls, avocado toast. Service was slower than expected maybe because it was so busy when I went. Overall good place for breakfast/ brunch (specifically if you eat egg)

A great place for brunch, with more than generous portions, high-quality ingredients, and very friendly staff. We hadn't booked, so there was a slight wait, but nothing serious; we were seated quite quickly.

Good coffee, great cookies, and a nice spot to chill! Stopped by Slake after a long day of walking around and exploring the city, and it was the perfect place to take a little break. The coffee was really good and their cookies were delicious — exactly what I needed after all those steps! The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. Sadly, I only got there about 20 minutes before closing, so I didn’t get the chance to try their brunch options. Definitely coming back next time because I already want to see what else they have on the menu! Such a nice little spot to slow down and recharge while exploring Annecy.

I only ordered a drink, but the waitress was very kind to accept it for just one person even though the place was full! I'll definitely go back to try their brunch!
