Back in Digne-les-Bains after four years, I returned to Smack with the same pleasure. The quality is still there: the pan bagnat, the Alpin, the ice cream… everything is excellent! Not to mention the waitress, always so smiling and welcoming 😊🙏. An address I recommend without hesitation ☀️

Fresh produce. Salads with very little olive oil! This makes the salad more authentic and less oily! Especially the Niçoise salad with anchovies! And always a very warm welcome 😃

26/08/2026: Excellent place! There were six of us, each ordering different dishes, and no one was disappointed. And young man, come to Alsace; you'll see it's not cold there (in summer, of course...) and it's very beautiful. Best of luck to you!
22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The staff were incredibly friendly, smiling, and attentive. The portions were generous and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals (pizzas, salads, and steak tartare), and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Café du Midi

05/09/2026: Lovely restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace. Good food, tender meat served with fries and various vegetables. However, a major drawback: they offered a few dishes, but in the end, the waitress (at 12:10 PM) arrived to say there were only two left to choose from.
03/09/2026: A lunch stop on the road at Café du Midi. Drawn in by the location and the terrace. The goat cheese salad was deliciously seasoned and satisfying, the welcome was warm, and the restrooms were clean. It's a pleasure to have lunch in a restaurant that pays attention to every detail, which is anything but insignificant. I'll be back! 👌
