Café du Midi sur Digne-Les-Bains

Hello, we were there for the lavender festival. A lovely spot under the plane trees. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, as often on festival days it's just a quick and easy affair. We had a very good steak tartare served with homemade fries and a very generous Italian salad. Well done and thank you!

This is already the third time I've had lunch at Café du Midi this week, and it's always a real pleasure. The daily specials are varied, generous, and particularly delicious. Today, I savored an absolutely delicious aioli, with a perfectly seasoned paste for those who appreciate bold flavors. The previous days, the dishes were just as successful, with consistent, homemade cuisine bursting with flavor. The welcome is incredibly kind, warm, and genuine. You immediately feel at ease. The atmosphere is convivial, almost familial, and the service is simply impeccable: attentive, efficient, and always with a smile. A truly wonderful place to discover and remember in Digne-les-Bains. For my part, I will return with immense pleasure! For the aioli on Fridays, remember to make a reservation. We received a very warm welcome, the salads were great, we used to come here and we will continue to come with great pleasure! We were feeling a bit blue, but it was a very good choice, cool.

Excellent lunch today: seared tuna, seasonal vegetables (cooked zucchini and eggplant), and panisses. A real treat. The service was attentive. It's always a pleasure to have lunch here.
