Very good Tunisian cuisine in a pleasant setting (superb tree-lined terrace), I recommend the Oja as a main course.

Sofra in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume is much more than a restaurant: it's an authentic and welcoming experience. The cuisine is home-style, generous, and bursting with flavor. Special mention goes to the couscous and kefta, absolutely delicious—cooked with love. Karine, the owner, is a real character: warm, dynamic, and always attentive. And in the kitchen, her husband delights us from start to finish. It's impossible to leave without trying their mint tea or homemade lemonade… truly wonderful! A must-visit if you love good Tunisian food and a genuine, family atmosphere.

During our stay, we enjoyed the dishes at Sofra every evening; we highly recommend it as the menu is so varied. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

I stayed in St. Maximin Ste. Baume for four days and ate at their restaurant every single day. The couscous was absolutely delicious. I recommend this restaurant 1000%! You'll find a taste of southern Tunisia there. Bravo!

We've been coming to Sofra for several years now. The food is divine, the couscous is incredible—one of my favorites. Aymen and Carine are very friendly and welcoming. The service is responsive, and the portions are generous. A visit to this charming, typical, and beautifully decorated little restaurant is highly recommended!

From the moment you arrive, you're transported to a warm and exotic atmosphere. The terrace is absolutely magnificent, tastefully decorated, and brimming with details reminiscent of Tunisia, creating a unique ambiance. You feel wonderfully at ease there; the setting is convivial, and you're never crowded. The food is simply exceptional: generous, flavorful, and prepared with love. The portions are substantial. But what makes this place even more exceptional are its owners; their generosity and kindness are evident in both their hospitality and the dishes they serve. It's a place where you'll have an incredible time, eat truly well, and leave with a smile.

Indeed, here you're truly welcomed "Tunisian style," and it shows, both in the generous and abundant cuisine, where every aroma whets the appetite, and in the service, where Karine, our host, adds a lively touch to our conversations and lets us know she's there, that she's met us before, and that she's already noted our habits. It's an experience; perhaps to some people it will seem too "abrupt," but in reality, it's more like something that's perhaps a little too direct in a world where we have a certain comfort in appearances. Here, you're welcomed as if you were at home, you eat as if you were in a restaurant, and you come back as if you were visiting friends.
