As a customer for several years, I highly recommend this quality Tunisian cuisine. The setting is lovely, especially the terrace. Top-notch.

The owner has a wonderful sense of humor, which makes for a warm welcome. We enjoyed a delicious and generous couscous served on a plate on the terrace under the fig tree. Mint tea was the perfect way to end the meal. Absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back.

As luck would have it, while driving down the street, I saw a string of lights and some decorations that looked nice. But I certainly wasn't expecting to find such a gem. The terrace of this Tunisian restaurant is simply magical, a complete change of scenery in just one evening. The magnificent decor makes you feel like you're actually in Tunisia—it's magical. And the same goes for the food: generous and delicious portions. I ordered the lamb and merguez couscous, and it was a pure delight. And of course, given the generous portion, I got a small container to take away. The desserts, the oriental pastries, are simply divine. The same goes for the homemade lemonade and the homemade mint tea. Karine, the waitress, is very friendly, and even though she's working alone, she takes the time to chat with you, which is very pleasant. For sure, even though I'm an hour and twenty minutes from Saint-Maximin, we'll be back. It will give us the feeling of going to Tunisia for an evening while we wait to be able to go back for real. Thank you for this lovely evening of relaxation and a change of scenery.

Excellent food in an authentically Tunisian setting: jars, the Hand of Fatima, ceramics—you're really there! And the cuisine is pure bliss at every level and price point: Oja tagines and, of course, couscous. The ultimate must-try, so order in advance: couscous with octopus. The owner cooks, and it makes all the difference! Passionate about his craft, he's always happy to share his culinary secrets and anecdotes under the watchful eye of Carine, his partner and head waitress, who speaks her mind (sensitive people beware! 😁). A hidden gem of St Max. We felt completely at home here thanks to the wonderfully warm welcome. Not only did we have exceptional service and food, the local recommendations of places to visit and things to do were great. A must do when on St Max. If you’re looking for high street, boring, same old crap then don’t go. However, if you want an immersive local, true to life experience then this is the place to go. We absolutely loved our visit and would highly recommend.
