Let's start with the sandwich, the heart of any Subway visit. The verdict is simple: delicious. The ingredients were fresh, well assembled, and the flavors combined perfectly to offer a real explosion in the mouth. The staff, for their part, were very friendly and efficient, making ordering quick and pleasant, despite the usual busyness of the place. However, a shadow hangs over this picture: the environment of the room. Upon entering, we are struck by a decor that seems frozen in time. The places seem old, giving the impression of a trip to the 2000s, in the heart of an anonymous store in a big city. This anachronism is all the more striking as it contrasts sharply with the Odysseum shopping center. An interior renovation would be more than welcome to align the atmosphere of the room with the contemporary and dynamic spirit of the neighborhood. As for accompaniments, Subway remains faithful to its classics: a bag of chips or a cookie. While these options are appreciated, they are sorely lacking in diversity and creativity. It is disappointing to see that no effort has been made in years to enrich this part of the menu. There are so many opportunities to improve and diversify side dishes, and it's time for Subway to take this opportunity seriously. In summary, the Montpellier Odysseum Subway offers a satisfying culinary experience thanks to the quality of its sandwiches and the friendliness of its staff. However, to truly compete with Odysseum's modern and varied offering, an update of the room environment and an improvement of the accompaniments are necessary.
