Sushi Gambetta, France sur Nice

It is a small very cozy restaurant and the food is incredible, however we only takeout. They have indoor and outdoor seating but unfortunately Gambetta is a very dirty street and there are drunk and homeless people loitering near by. I wish the restaurants and business got organized and demand the City to give more attention to Gambetta boulevard

Friendly staff! Not traditional Japanese like I’m used to but it is delicious! Kinda fusion style! I like the addition of mint in the salmon and tuna rolls. Crispy sushi was delicious, our favourite. Mango sashimi boat was another favourite. And we got miso soup too. Recommend!

Our family was going out for dinner and in the mood for something fresh and not so warm because of the warm weather in Nice. We casually walked by this little place and saw that the prices were reasonable for our budget and not expecting anything more than average. Boy were we wrong! The sushi here was easily one of the best I’ve ever eaten in my life and I had a few. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious, the rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and made every bite special and explode of tasty goodness in my mouth. I can’t say that one piece of fish was better than the other but the tuna and salmon was delicious and the avocado cream with a buttery/nutty flavor. I hade the Bento nr1. The staff was super friendly and repeatedly asked us if everything we had was ok or if we needed anything. Strongly recommended for the sushi lovers!

Sushi was some of the best we've ever had. Extremely friendly staff and prices are very reasonable. Would definitely go back if opportunity came. Glad we stopped by.
