The sushi is always very good. But today the dining area was very dirty: the tables hadn't been cleared or cleaned, and some customers were seated at dirty tables (not even a quick wipe down), which is truly disgusting. Furthermore, the waitresses didn't have time to clear or clean the tables between customers, or even to reset them properly, even though there weren't many people there, but they preferred to drink Coke and chat amongst themselves. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, leaving tables covered in rice, cans, and boxes is simply unacceptable and extremely unhygienic.

26/02/2026: A lovely restaurant, charming inside with very pleasant service. The appetizers are quite good, whether it's the gyoza or the karaage chicken pieces; the sushi is also very decent, the fish wasn't bad, but the rice lacked firmness, and the shrimp sushi fell apart on its own, which is a shame. The chicken tariaki was also very good. It's nice to have tasting menus like this, especially since there are several different ones. It might be a little pricey for what it is, but it's a very nice restaurant, a safe bet.
20/02/2026: The best Japanese restaurant in Aix-en-Provence, it's always a pleasure to come to this Aix institution!

Monsieur Sushi

12/12/2025: This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant! I dined in once and ordered takeout, and I've always greatly appreciated the warm welcome and the quality of the food! I highly recommend it and I can't wait to go back!
