Tried it yesterday with a friend. The interior decor is dated and could use a refresh. The restaurant is quite small, dark, and rather noisy as soon as it gets busy. The service was friendly and pleasant. As for the food, it was a disappointment. I ate at this restaurant at least 20 years ago, I think, and it was an opportunity to eat real Japanese food (ramen, donburi), which I loved. Now, I've been to Japan, and ramen restaurants are much more popular... and I couldn't say if it's because I've become more demanding or if it's because the quality has declined... but it was really very average. The appetizers were okay... but the ramen: the broth was far too salty, lacked depth of flavor, the egg was hard-boiled (even though Ajitsuke Tamago are supposed to be soft-boiled!!), the noodles were disappointing... in short! A real shame!

The location and food are absolutely top-notch, approved by Japanese people (not us) and visitors to Japan (us). The sushi is excellent, even my very picky girlfriend approves! I was able to find unagi-don there, an incredible grilled eel dish, which I hadn't found since Tokyo. The three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) is around €30, enough to fill you up, otherwise the ramen is under €20 and also very popular. The interior is really cute and air-conditioned. The exterior is nice, but can be noisy on a student night, as the restaurant is on a street full of bars.

Delicious meal and very attentive staff. Service and welcome in French and Japanese; I almost felt like I was back in Japan. I will gladly return to try other dishes! とてもおいしかったです！ どもありがとう
