Sushi Spirit NICE sur Nice

Very good food, service a little quick, no time to finish the aperitif as the starters arrived. We still had a good time.

Only stayed for drinks but thoroughly enjoyed the place.

Lovely, upmarket restaurant with white table cloths just off the main pedestrian street. This restaurant is particularly popular with small groups of local French people in the evening time. The regulars are well known to staff and are made feel particularly welcome. The special lunch menu - two courses for 14 euro - was great value. Good service. Very relaxing and quite tasty. We returned one evening when the menu was dearer. We went for the two-course set menu for 25 euro that was limited on that occasion to onion soup, calf liver and tuna steak. All were disappointing, just luke warm and did not taste great. If you would like a particularly nice meal in the evening, you will probably have to pay a lot more for the privilege. We were very disappointed, however, that regulars were offered a free digestif of lemoncello at lunchtime, but day visitors were asked to pay for them. Whatever happened to égalité? This place was hit and miss for us. We recommend that you try the lunch menu first and take it from there. You may be pleasantly surprised.

I've eaten here several times, and I still have nothing to complain about. Very good value for money, welcoming and pleasant staff. We always see regulars there and I understand why, I recommend.

Enjoyed our meal - the “menu de jour” options were great for those of us who don’t want a full meal and even more for those who do! Classic French cuisine done very well.
